We had another lazy week of summer....well, some of us. Ellie was not lazy on her week of Urban Plunge. Phil, of course had a busy work week. The rest of us had some serious veg time. Voss and I are over halfway finished with the Prisoner of Azkaban. I finished My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry. Abby and Voss did a lot of babysitting. Marly did some dog walking and lots of baking and a pool day with Addy. I did another orientation at high school, this time easier having one under my belt. Marly came with me to WD again. We got a Local Fare delivery. Tuesday, I did a barre class while the kids were swimming. Then we all went out to the beach to my friend, April's condo. It was a perfect day out there enjoying the waves and sand, and great company. We met Phil at Texas Roadhouse on the way home to celebrate Marly's Baptism Birthday. I played in a USTA match on Wednesday for a win with a new friend, Caitlin. I got called in last minute so it was nice to play. I had a pool play date with my pal, Emma for a catch up sesh. Mom came for dinner for shrimp and rice bowls, reminiscing about her 70th Birthday gift to CA. Thursday was Juneteenth so we had lots of conversations about that, swim and HIIT class and no work for Phil. I met Tracy, Rachael, Jessica and her brother for lunch. Later, Phil and I had a catch up sesh with the Hogans. Lots of social time this week, which I missed a lot from last week. Friday I drove all the way out to Jax Golf to get my butt kicked in another USTA match with Kerri. Not our best work. I lingered to watch tennis and enjoy their amenities then went to a Nutcracker meeting. Phil and I went out for a Thai date then early bedtime for all. We got up early for a swim meet in Palatka! It was so far out there! But once we were there it was fine. Timing makes the meet fly by and we have a front row for all the action. It was a good meet with lots of heat winners. Larry's is our new Saturday trend on the way home. That afternoon, Phil and I picked up Ellie from Plunge. We heard all her stories of new friends, hard work on people's houses and around the church. She even stood in front of the group to share a story from one of her work days. Super cool to see another generation of lives impacted by this amazing ministry! She was happy to come home and crash and enjoy 10 hours of sleep! Phil and I went to TCC for a nightcap. This morning we went to mass for the feast of Corpus Christi and adoration around the church. We took Mimi's boat our for a Sunday Funday adventure to Outback Crabshack. It was a perfect day to be out on the water! Phil got PubSubs for dinner. Ellie headed to Marywood for Camp I Am Special. Here are the pics of the week.
