I drove middle school carpool this week. It's just easier. Flag raising (one of Voss' last!) and then tennis clinic. I did the normal WD shopping trip then started prepping for book club. I made a French onion soup from scratch along with boisen stuffed, prosciutto wrapped chicken to go along with the Paris Apartment theme. It was just an okay book club. I hosted at my mom's house and I spent more time hosting and less time enjoying. Tuesday I went to a SAC meeting at middle school and then downtown for the final DCCPTA meeting. I got wrapped up in PTA drama that afternoon but was voted in for treasurer of Marly's school PTA for next year. This all went down while running at Abby's swim meet. A few broken stopwatches had me scrambling. Phil and I met the Thortons for a nightcap at Mellow then Rogue. Joan and I finally won our tennis match on Wednesday! It was a tough match with a 3rd set, but we did it at San Jose. It felt great! Thursday, we did another boat day, this time with my high school pals, celebrating Chrissy's Birthday. Another perfect day out there seeing dolphins downtown and an alligator way down by the Collins Rd bridge. A little rain canceled swim and made me do some furniture scramble in Matt's hand me downs. Late that night I picked up my mom and neighbors from the airport. She made it! And had a wonderful time! I met the late night Lillians crew for a nightcap. Friday I played with Melanie on the hard courts at the beach. My hip was aching by the end. We lost in the 3rd set, it was a hard one. I washed it away on the beach with my toes in the sand. Phil and I met for lunch. Later, I went for round II in the Angels for Allison tournament. It was a fun, live ball format with Taco Lu for dinner. Saturday morning we hit the ground running. I did a HIIT class, then the rain canceled Voss' soccer game. I drove kids back and forth, Marly babysitting, Abby to a Birthday party lunch then Cotillion pre-party. I'm so grateful her friend's parents turned Cotillion into the Birthday party so that took one thing off my plate. We went to Kerri's 50th Derby themed party, then took photos with Ellie for her prom (her dress is stunning!) and then to Sophie's Confirmation party. Whew! This morning, Voss altar served for mass. We did CCD and then breakfast. The girls finally all came home and went to mass together then picked up Publix sushi, etc for dinner. Working on a reset for the week to prep for Maycember, oh my! Here are the pics of the week.
