Whew! It just keeps coming! I drove middle school carpool this week. Month of the military child flag raising at Voss' school: glad I had my sunglasses on! I kicked off the week with a 36hr fast. Abby had swim almost everyday. It was a lot! Due to the canceled meet before, she had 3 meets this week....all away since the chemicals in the home pool weren't right and it stayed green. I went to tennis clinic, WD and drove swim carpool on Monday. Voss had soccer and scouts. It was picture week at dance. The middle school is trying to win blue ribbon so we had a parent panel on Tuesday, then a super long PTSA and nominating committee meeting at Ellie's school. I drove a swim carpool out to the beach and then timed at that swim meet. I picked up mom for dinner, drove Abby to dance to get a pic with her sisters then drove mom home. Wednesday I played in my first team match with my new hip. We did okay. No wins, but I was happy to be out there. I raced off the court back to middle school for another blue ribbon meeting then to Marly's school for a De-stress before the test carnival. Good thing I didn't have time to shower because I sweat through that outfit. Used a baby wipe to clean up before a SAC meeting at Ellie's school then caught two of Abby's races at the swim meet. Thankful for friends helping with the driving for that! From there I met Rachael downtown to see the Neil Diamond musical, Beautiful Noise. It was nice to catch up with her and I thought the show was pretty good, too. I was happy to finally hop in the shower that night. Thursday we had car care at MomCo. A mechanic husband showed us how to change a tire and all the tricks and tips for care safety and maintenance. Great meeting! Phil and I went to a waterways public trust event that night, thanks to Tara. From there, the Steeg kickoff with a calcutta. Friday I got to play in another tennis match, with Melanie. We did win one game and then lost the third set pretty badly. Getting closer. I need to just keep playing. I headed up to watch the Steeg. Steph, Jess and I had lunch with the Ryals. I picked up the younger two from school with Kona ice, watched Phil win a match then raced to Voss' Friday night lights soccer game. It was a hard team, loosing 3-4. I went back up to FYC for a nightcap. Saturday morning, I brought Voss to a friend's house to hitch a ride to his first Boy Scout camping trip, at Mayport and touring a battleship. Then, a HIIT class, catch up walk with my friend, Tracy then over to watch more tennis. It was so hot! Phil won again. My brother and sister golf carted up to sip and watch, too. It turned into a gorgeous night. The after party was really nice, too. the food was awesome and loved seeing the new pool all lit up at FYC. This morning, I got up with Phil again for his final match. It ended in a loss, but still good tennis. I picked up Voss from camping and had an Ellie sighting. I took Abby to a meet & greet for the National Charity League, did a WD run and then family dinner watching Sing and eating subs. Ready for another fun filled week! Here are the pics.
