Holy Moly, juggling way too many hats this week! I signed up for all these roles (VP JWJ PTSA, school supply fundraiser, patrol parent pres, nominating committee, room parent (x2) and FSA treat bags) back when there wasn't much going on...and now it's all coming to a head. Ack! I had some late nights just trying to keep up and compartmentalize one day at a time. I did clinic on Monday and won matches on Tuesday and Thursday....excellent for my stress! April and I had a mid-week pool day to remind myself that life is pretty amazing. The weather is gorgeous; perfect spring with everything blooming and a breeze. Aubree hosted book club to discuss Anxious People. So ironic for this week and me finishing it literally the first 20min of book club! Louis lent me a rabbit head, perfect costume! Voss had a Thursday and Saturday game. I got Marly a ride home so I was able to see Voss get a great hit, RBI and made it home! He's really come a long way. Not so lucky on Saturday but still a fun game to watch. Phil and I had a Cuban lunch date on Friday. I took a minivan of middle schoolers to Cotillion at UNF. That was a huge stressor, but ended up being a lot of fun and now I know more for next year! Phil took the elementary kids to their first post COVID dance at school. Lots of dancing and chaos but fun was had by all! Saturday after Voss' game, the VanWies took us tubing on their boat (while we wait for our gas cap that fell in the river). We stopped by to wish Kerri a Happy Birthday then met the McArthurs for a dinner at O'rSay. Talk about mind blowing intelligent conversations! Wow! Sunday we picked Marly up from yet another sleepover then went to mass and CCD. I spent the day prepping for the week. We got back to doing a family rosary then Phil and I went out for a sushi dinner. Ozark and Outlander for mind candy and now we begin Maycember! Here are our pics of the week.
