It was a weird week figuring out a new routine. Swim team was canceled for Monday morning for no good reason so they all lucked out with sleeping in. I went to a HIIT class. Ellie and I went downtown for her dress rehearsal for the other dance studio. I stupidly thought we'd be there for an hour or so and we were there all afternoon. We made it home in time for me to change clothes and Ellie to grab a snack for the recital. I picked up my mom and the other kids, dropped Ellie back off at the theatre then the kids, my mom and I grabbed dinner downtown. My sister, Suzanne joined us. It was a wonderful recital, but long. Suzanne and I loved it. Voss fell asleep. Phil arrived at intermission. I warned him that Ellie's dance was 3rd from the end. Tuesday I let them all sleep in and we did afternoon swim team practice. We visited my dad. My neighbor, Zachary loves joining us! Wednesday we did morning swim team, signed up for summer reading at the library, visited dad then went to the Art Walk downtown. I had a MOPS leadership dinner that Anne hosted as a thank you for a great year. Thursday more swim team and visiting dad. Trying to get everything ready for my trip with Abby next week. Friday after swim team we went to the beach. The Freemans rented a house for the week and invited us out to enjoy. Ellie drove all the way out there! It was a perfect day out there with Steph and the Laurens. I dropped Ellie off to babysit and Abby to Landis' for a Birthday sleepover. Marly got to go with Addy to a water park and then sleepover. Phil and I went on a dinner date to TCC then met the Strassers at Grace Note. Saturday we were able to sleep in. We went on a Dunkin run for Ellie and Voss. Phil took Ellie to her first SAT prep class. I took Marly and Addy to Target, picked up Abby from the sleepover and spent the day packing and working on an embroidery order. Phil and Voss played soccer. It's just been SO HOT here; it's hard to do anything outside. We went to 5pm mass and then TCC for pool and dinner. I met Anne and Tracy for a long overdue night out at Flying Iguana. Sunday morning, Abby and I got picked up by the Parks gals and we headed out for the Patrol DC trip. More details about that soon.
